Preparation for the Crosing

Ski season is now behind us and the weather has turned warm and sunny again. We made our way down of the Sea of Abaco, for our final sail. The turquoise color of the water was exquisite as the waves splashed over the reefs.

Andy and Dave continued their daily work of engine tune ups, either the dingy or the big boat are always in need of some mechanical adjusting.  We had one last dinner at Pete’s Pub, Dave was quite good at getting the ring on the hook, the essential bar game at Pete’s.  We took our seasick medication and headed to bed early to be ready for the crossing to Eleuthera .
